Heroes of the film Angelica and Joffrey
This film is based on a book, a classic historical novel, published in 1957 under the title Angelica, Marquise of the Angels. The action begins in 1645 in Monteloux, France, where the main character - Angelica, the daughter of the Baron, is brought up with two sisters. The first volume of the saga of the seductive angel-marquise covers the period from childhood to the first years of marriage with Count Joffre de Peirac, nicknamed the Great Culavor, who at first does not like him: he is lame and has a scar on his face.
