A Simple Sunday Seafood Dinner with My In-Laws and Family on the Farm

The Sunday nights felt different for me. There is a softness in the air, a quiet pause before a new week begins. We decided to have dinner at my sister in law’s house, together with my husband’s family, my in-laws. Because I go to market to deliver our small vegetables so I took charge of the food, so I started the day by buying seafoods. I picked shrimp, tahong and the grass in the sea we called gulaman and other ingredients, but the sweetcorn is from our small backyard garden. While buying the, I was already thinking, this is going to be a fun food trip we didn’t plan anything, we just wanted to good food and good company.
