#Club75|| Steemit-Garden || Two colors of kenikir flowers, namely orange and yellow, the benefits of betadine plants are very good for health.
Like what you all see in the image above or my opening image. I saw a garden with some beautiful plants there, including orange kenikir flowers, yellow kenikir flowers and a betadin tree growing.
I am happy to be able to see the colors of flowers in nature, honestly I really like the bright colors and I really like this orange kenikir flower from the color and shape of the flower part.
This kenikir plant usually thrives in moist soil and this kenikir flower is also an ornamental plant that is often planted in the yard.
I can capture many photos today and then how the beauty is no less beautiful than the orange kenikir.
These are the types of kenikir flowers, but it's only the color that sets them apart and I spent almost an hour in this little garden taking lots of pictures.
Judging from the shape of the flower, this kenikir is very similar to a sunflower when it blooms and this makes me feel more at home in this garden.
Well, lastly I saw a plant that is rich in health benefits that grows here and this betadin plant was deliberately planted in this garden. maybe I will tell you at length about this betadin plant this time.
Medicinal plants (iodine tree or betadine tree)
A little story, this time I was in one of the gardens on the side of the road to my house and I saw an iodine tree or often called a betadine tree. This is one of the medicinal plants that is often used by residents to heal external wounds due to scratches by sharp objects and some are used to help heal canker sores.
Well, this plant is green, the leaf shape is very similar to papaya leaves, has red flowers and also has green round fruit.
Maybe some people don't know what ingredients are in this medicinal plant. Iodine leaves contain active compounds that play an important role in healing external wounds caused by sharp objects.
You need to know, as for the content of the leaves of the iodine tree or betadine tree which have a role in wound healing, including:
Saponin
Fenol
Tanin
Alkaloid
Glikosida
Flavonoid
Steroid
camperterol
Stigmatrol
alfa amirin
Beta sitosterol
HCN dan,
7 Alfa diol.
Of these several ingredients, this medicinal plant has many benefits for health and this makes the iodine tree often used as a wound healing drug by rural communities when exposed to sharp objects on the outer skin. Maybe in urban areas we rarely find iodine trees or betadine trees, therefore I want to share some important benefits that you need to know about this iodine tree.
Here are 6 properties or benefits contained from iodine leaves or often also called betadine leaves that we must know to save wounds or heal wounds:
Stopping bleeding In our daily life some of us may have experienced wounds due to scratches and friction of sharp objects that cause bleeding. You can use the liquid that comes out of the stem of the iodine leaf or betadine leaf by applying it to the wound or the sick part. The liquid that comes out of the stem of the betadine leaf can slowly stop the bleeding that comes out of the wound you experience.
Drying wounds We often experience wounds on the surface of the skin, especially for some people who work outdoors who are very susceptible to scratches and friction with sharp objects. The liquid that comes out of the stem of the betadin leaf can dry the wound so that it supports the healing of the wounds we experience quickly and the liquid from the betadin leaf also feels a little sore when applied to the wound, so don't be afraid of it.
Prevent Infection You need to know, the liquid that comes out of the stem of betadine leaves contains antioxidants that are very good for preventing infection in wounds. Wound infections caused by bacteria and viruses can develop in the wound. With betadine, leaf stem fluid can prevent and kill germs and bacteria that attack the wounds we experience.
Preventing keloids Disruptions in the form of the growth of flesh or the occurrence of lumps in scars due to an imperfect healing process are called keloids. Usually not everyone can experience keloids and keloids are usually only experienced by offspring who have keloids. Thus, you can use betadine leaf liquid when you have cuts or scrapes so that keloids can't grow that are visible on the surface of the skin affected by the wound.
Removing scars or fading scars Usually scars will be black in color and scars may form more visible on the surface of the skin. This is the ability of betadine leaves that can heal the injured part very well. You can use betadine leaves to fade scars on the surface of your skin by squeezing the washed betadine leaves, you can also grind the betadine leaves until smooth and stick them on wounds that are still imprinted. Black scars usually peel off on their own and can be the same color as your skin.
Regenerate new cells Usually scars caused by sharp objects will imprint or split due to damaged skin cells. The liquid from the stem of betadine leaves can regenerate new cells on the skin. With the liquid content of betadin leaves, scars will be covered with new cells that can heal scars very well because of the regeneration assistance from the fluid from betadin leaf stems.
In conclusion, not all plants that grow wild or that are intentionally planted can harm our health, but there are also those that are very beneficial for our health and one of them is the plant that I found today, the Iodine tree or often called the Betadine Tree. It has the important property of healing scratches caused by sharp objects.
You also need to know, not everyone can use the liquid from the iodine leaves as a medicine to heal wounds. For those of you who have allergies or sensitive skin, you should first consult a doctor and other health workers. It's all to keep the infection on the skin and make your wound worse.
