The dreamed horse

It's strange how, as children, many of us dream of having a horse, and in my case, I wanted one ever since I saw them during my visits to the countryside when I was little.

Back then, we lived in the capital, so the idea of having a horse was impossible, because even if they could have bought me one, the point of having a horse is to ride it and have it nearby—not just during fleeting vacations.

Although I now live in the countryside and we have a large yard, and even though I still like them, I haven't bought a horse, because they still exist, although less and less, ever since motorcycles replaced them.

El caballo soñado

Es raro como de pequeños muchos queremos tener un caballo, y en mi caso, lo quise desde que los ví durante mis visitas al campo cuando era pequeña.

Por aquel entonces vivíamos en la capital, lo que la idea de tener un caballo era imposible, porque aunque me lo pudieran haber comprado, el caso de tener un caballo es poder montarlo y tenerlo cerca, no solo durante unas fugaces vacaciones.

Aunque ahora vivo en el campo, y tenemos un patio grande, a pesar de que me siguen gustando, no me he comprado un caballo, porque aún existen, aunque cada vez menos, desde que las motos los reemplazaron.
