The Broken Parent Syndrome

in #familyprotection6 years ago (edited)

The term does not appear in any medical treaty that I know of, yet they walk among us, their plight most times unknown to us.

You will probably recognize the skinny guy in the image above. It is Tom Evans, the father of Alfie Evans, the British child who died last week, five days after being taken off life support. Does he look like a regular 21 year-old to you?
The man besides him is Everton Football Club manager Bill Kenwright who befriended Tom Evans last autumn after realizing just how broken he was.

“The one thing I'd noticed about him was how tired he looked, how skinny he was, how undernourished, but he had his Everton shirt on and he didn't want anything from me, he just wanted everyone to know about his lad and what his lad was going through.”

There are many other like him out there, whose kids have been taken by child protective services or medically kidnapped, but no one knows their stories. They face their ordeal alone. This is especially true of the United States, where there are plenty of similar cases the mainstream media won't acknowledge.
No important media outlet in the US covered the execution last year of Baby Steffen, a seven-month boy born with a not life-threatening heart defect, who enjoyed reasonable good health until he was taken by the CPS. Subjected to several unwarranted medical procedures while in protective custody he ended up on life-support. Just like Alfie, baby Steffen continued to breathe on his own, but not for long as the doctors gave him a powerful anesthetic to put him out of his misery. A drug called Propofol – you might have heard of it in connection with Michael Jackson's death.

The image above, taken at Baby Steffen's funeral shows two parents beyond broken, for it is not just the tragedy of losing their son they're dealing with. The girl they're hugging in the pictures is their daughter Annalise, also taken by the CPS. To this day they did not get the girl back.
You won't find their story in major US newspapers, because as we've heard over the past weeks, such stories only happen elsewhere.
At the exact same time Patricia and Steffen Rivenburg were trying to save their son, the US media gave ample space to the Charlie Gard story. The very vocal US president Donald Trump offered his support for British toddler Charlie Gard and wanted him flown to the US. The petition to save Baby Steven never made it to his desk, apparently. At least Charlie had his Army of supporters, Alfie's death was mourned publicly in Liverpool, baby Steffen was buried with the CPS looking over his parents' shoulders. Literally.

The family of Baby Steffen is still trying to get their girl back, but they fight a lonely battle. There is no public outcry, just a Facebook page to support them. It is not their own page, because CPS don't take kindly to families that share their stories on social media. It's 'shut up or else'. And the poor people keep it quiet hoping that if they are compliant they might have a chance to get their kids back.
The same thing happened to the Evans family, after hospital representatives made it clear they will not tolerate the attitude of Alfie's parents. It worked. They broke them, they had them tell their supporters to go home, even thank the doctors that had taken their child off life-support. Probably, they were hoping to get the baby discharged so they could try to fly him to Rome, but that never happened.

Not surprisingly, the picture of Alfie Evans was poignantly posted on the FB page of another broken parent. I wrote a few months ago about the story of little Grace, a California girl ordered to undergo chemotherapy even before any cancer tests were undertaken to asses her condition. Her mother, Leah Beabout, was very vocal at first, but then CPS stepped in. 'Shut up or else'. I have been following her account ever since, but she limits herself to posting pictures of her daughter. No words, no accusations, nothing. It's hard to understand. As a parent, you say to yourself you'd scream and shout your anger, only they cannot, they're too broken to speak out because they fear retribution of the worst kind – not be allowed to see their daughter anymore or ever get her back from foster care. This woman's posting a picture of Alfie Evans is a silent message – I share your pain.
Sadly, no one hears these broken parents' pain, mainstream media won't touch their stories, they do not exist.
Think what happened in the UK with little Alfie was bad? Think again!
Hopefully, Steemit and other blockchain-based social media will grow big enough to give these parents a voice, make their stories known worldwide and force authorities to stop destroying families.

"Child Protection Agencies" are taking children away from their loving families.
THESE FAMILIES NEED PROTECTING.

I was involved in resisting CPS when I was parenting. I was fortunate, as were my children.

My heart breaks for those that aren't.

88% of runaway children sex trafficked were escaping from abuse while in the 'care' of social services. This is an epidemic, and the disease is government power. Every issue, not only parental and child rights, stems from the incessant growth and cancerous affects of governmental force on the free peoples of the world.

Thanks!

There are just so many cases, the more you dig into this the more you discovered. You go from one page to antoher, from a FB account to another and you keep finding more stories of desperate people. It's heartbreaking.
