Prelude in C Major, BuxWV 137 (Dieterich Buxtehude)
This Prelude, Fugue and Chaconne is one of Buxtehude's most well-known works. It's a classic example of his notorious Stylus Fantasticus - a segmented non-chorale based composition where free improvisatory episodes alternate with strict fugal sections. I hope you will enjoy it!
I have played this piece using Altenbruch sample set by Sonus Paradisi of Hauptwerk VPO. If you like my music making, you can support me on Patreon and get free organ CD's at https://www.patreon.com/secretsoforganplaying
