Como ya la mayoría estamos informados, el COVID-19 es la enfermedad infecciosa causada por el coronavirus que se ha descubierto más recientemente. Ambos eran desconocidos antes de que estallara el brote en Wuhan - China en diciembre de 2019 expandiéndose por todo el mundo luego.

Personalmente, cuando el Coronavirus llego a mi país, no era capaz de visualizarlo como algo tan delicado que es, tomaba las prevenciones y pase meses sin salir pero lo tomaba como ''obligación'' de mi madre, fue pasando el tiempo y lo convertí en algo completamente irrelevante para mi.

Mi hermana mayor, Covadonga Jimenez quien en 2018 se mudo a Cali - Colombia para conseguir mas estabilidad económica, quien padece de Asma desde la infancia dio positivo al COVID-19 el Sabado 19 de Junio.

Ahí es cuando todo se te detiene y piensas que has sido egoísta, no tomaste en serio la lucha de millones de personas en el mundo hasta que tocó las puertas de tu casa, hasta que te ataca directamente a ti junto a tu familia y de un momento a otro está en riesgo la vida de alguien que tu amas y Dios te enseña que sin él no puedes mantener la fuerza.

Mi madre junto a Dios movió lo imposible hasta poder llegar al día a Cali Colombia.

En un punto mejoró pero, su asma no le permitió que fuera por completo, afortunadamente se consiguió el traslado a un Clínica sin fugas de oxigeno como los había en el Hospital y afortunadamente no se encontraba en Venezuela debido a que, aquí son pocas las posibilidades de que una persona tan afectada se salve por falta de medicamentos e incluso oxigeno.

Cuando miras a una persona que sabes lo fuerte que es sin poder respirar solo quieres pensar que estas teniendo una pesadilla y que todo es mentira, preguntándote constantemente que harás si algo pasa, que harás si sabes que puede ser peor.

Hoy mi hermana se encuentra en un proceso para despertar con una traqueotomía luego de haber estado intubada por 8 días, estando viva por tener 24 años de edad.

Con esta pequeña historia que aun no termina quiero hacer referencia a que, realmente no importa en que punto de tu vida te encuentras, no importa que tan grande te sientes, la vida te lo puede arrebatar todo en segundos.

Vive porque nadie mas lo hará por ti, vive porque hay personas que desearían estar donde tu estas, vive porque el aire que respiras hoy otro día te puede hacer falta. Deja de fijarte mas en tus problemas y preocupaciones, deja de reventar tu mente sufriendo por alguien que no te merece.

Emprende algo, enfocate en esa cosa que tienes en mente pero no terminaste de pensar, te aseguro que ahí fuera hay alguien que lo daría todo por ti, te aseguro que gente te ama y no puedes tener dudas de eso.

Mi hermana siempre decía que mi madre no la quería y justo ahora le esta demostrando que la ama de una manera fuerte, firme, noble.

Hagamos lo que nos haga feliz sin miedo a arrepentirnos, busquemos aprendizajes, sigamos nuestras creencias sin prejuicios y sin hacer daño a nadie.

Seamos amables que no sabemos la batalla por la que otros están luchando.

Personally, when the Coronavirus arrived in my country, I was not able to visualize it as something as delicate as it is, I took the precautions and spent months without leaving but I took it as an `` obligation '' of my mother, time passed and I converted it into something completely irrelevant to me.

My older sister, Covadonga Jimenez, who in 2018 moved to Cali - Colombia to achieve more economic stability, who has suffered from asthma since childhood, tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, June 19.

That's when everything stops you and you think that you have been selfish, you did not take seriously the struggle of millions of people in the world until it knocked on the doors of your house, until it directly attacks you along with your family and a moment to moment the life of someone you love is at risk and God teaches you that without him you cannot maintain strength.

My mother, together with God, moved the impossible until she was able to reach Cali Colombia.

At one point he improved but, his asthma did not allow him to go completely, fortunately he was transferred to a Clinic without oxygen leaks as there were in the Hospital and fortunately he was not in Venezuela because, here are few possibilities that such an affected person is saved due to lack of medications and even oxygen.

When you look at a person who knows how strong he is without being able to breathe, you only want to think that you are having a nightmare and that everything is a lie, constantly wondering what you will do if something happens, what you will do if you know that it can be worse.

Today my sister is in the process of waking up with a tracheostomy after being intubated for 8 days, being alive for being 24 years old.

With this little story that is not over yet, I want to refer to the fact that, it really doesn't matter where you are in your life, no matter how big you feel, life can take everything away from you in seconds.

Live because no one else will do it for you, live because there are people who wish they were where you are, live because the air you breathe today may be missing another day. Stop focusing more on your problems and concerns, stop bursting your mind suffering for someone who does not deserve you.

Undertake something, focus on that thing you have in mind but did not finish thinking, I assure you that there is someone out there who would give everything for you, I assure you that people love you and you cannot have doubts about that.

My sister always said that my mother did not love her and right now she is showing her that she loves her in a strong, firm, noble way.

Let's do what makes us happy without fear of regret, let's seek learning, let's follow our beliefs without prejudice and without hurting anyone.

Let's be nice that we don't know the battle that others are fighting for.
