From Thailand Beach Life to Malaysia City Life
So we would have loved to stay put in Thailand and explore it a bit more whilst we were there but they do have strict Visa exemption.
FYI ... Thailand has a 30 day Visa restriction so before you go to Thailand make sure you have booked a flight out of Thailand within 30 days and you show this to border control.
What better way to split our trip up with a Visit to Malaysia's Capital City Kuala Lumpur.
The capital Kuala Lumpur is best known for it’s skyscraper towers (Petronas Twin Towers) a massive 452m Tall!
Yes they are that big I struggled to fit them in the one picture
We were living right in the heart of the city amongst all the Sky scrapers it was amazing but also quite intimidating... Coming from a small town and not seeing this everyday.
This picture was taken from our hotel this is the Menara KL tower the seventh tallest communications tower in the world which provides you with a 360 degree view of the City.
We took a Hop on Hop off tour of Kuala Lumpur was really fun...
First stop was Little India South of Kuala Lumpur in the Brickfields district. It is estimated that there is over 2.5 million Malaysian-Indians living in Kuala Lumpur and you can definitely see that in this part. Got off the Bus and we were instantly transported to India.
This Guy didn't fool me :)
After Little India we Hopped back on the Bus and took a visit to the Lake Garden
Was a nice change from being surrounded by huge buildings
And lastly on our Hop On Hop Off tour was the National Palace we only got a picture from the bus as we were too exhausted from the heat to actually walk any more or we were just LAZY
Hope you enjoyed my post on the amazing city Kuala Lumpur. Keep your eye on more to come from our trip to Malaysia.
Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed.

Nice pics. I'm planning on going to Malaysia next month to sort out my Thai visa (I'm currently based in Chiang Mai) and judging by these pictures I won't be disappointed :-)
Aw thank you very much!! Wow I am quite jealous I never managed to get to Chiang Mai :( I hope you are enjoying it there... And you won't be disappointed one bit!
Let me know if you do, I can recommend loads of non touristy things to do and see. Looking forward to doing Malaysia for the first time though!
Yes 100% that sounds prefect... One thing I am desperate to see is Elephants but I would not ride them or anything like that and I haveheard Chiang Mai has the best Sanctuaries so that is on the to do list :) Yes if you need to know anything about Malaysia I am happy to help :)
Thanks! I'll be in touch if I need some advice. Same to you, If you're in Chiang Mai and need some tips let me know

Hi! I'm wondering - what happens if you don't book a flight out of Thailand within 30 days? Me and my boyfiend are planning a trip there...wasn't aware of that ristriction...usualy you can stay up to 3 months without complications...So - thank you for sharing this with us! Will follow you for more :) @lavitaebella
Hi @lavitaebella, you can apply for a tourist visa in your home country. With this visa you can stay in Thailand for 2 months + 1 month if you extent it at the thai consulate for a 2000 baht fee. You don't necessarily need a ticket out of Thailand when you come in to the country with this visa, but many people still do it to avoid any difficult questions. I hope you'll have a great time there! :)
Thank you @natural.cure, @laurenkavanagh and @robbierush for kind advices! Will take everything into consideration and see what suits us the most! Thank you all :)
Yes that's the best option I hope you and your boyfriend have a wonderful time :)
Hello @lavitaebella what I know is that you can have a 30 day Visa entry which you fill out on the plane and give to passport control when you enter Thailand. but if you want to stay longer I think you will need to go to your embassy and apply for a longer trip. You can leave Thailand and go back again but you need to be out the country for more than 24 hours so we just went to Malaysia for a week and returned to Thailand where you get another 30 day Visa. Would be easier for you to just get 3 month Visa if you want to just stay in Thailand though... Hope that helps.
i stay in thailand and once a month i go to immigration in pattaya and i get a 30 day extension for 1900 baht thats how i do it but other people do border runs or fly out for a week then come back again
Yes that is what we done a border run was going to go to Cambodia but had too much already planned in such a short time scale. I didn't know you could get the extension there that is great to know for @lavitaebella
