Samba Rava Upma in my style.
Hi, Today I give one nutritional breakfast that is SAMBA RAVA UPMA
Broken Wheat is known as "gothumai rava" or "samba rava.
It is an incredible wellspring of fiber and is likewise low in fat. Getting ready upma with dalia/samba gothumai rava is an awesome method to incorporate it in our eating regimen. INGREDIENTS :-
- Broken wheat - 1 cup
-Water : 3 cups
salt : as required
Onion - 1
-Green chillies -3
- Ginger - 1 inch piece finely cleaved
-mixed vegetables :1"cup finely chopped(you can use as you wish vegetables)
Peas - 100grms
For the flavoring
Oil - 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Red chille - 1
Hing/asafoedita - a squeeze
Curry leaves - a sprig
For Garnishing
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp finely slashed
PREPARATION :-
STEP1 :-
Finally chopped all vegetables
STEP 2 :-
Dry roast split wheat (samba gothumai ravai) on medium warmth blending constantly until the point that it is hot to touch. Try not to dark colored the broke wheat. Keep it aside.
STEP 3:-
Warmth oil in a pan, include mustard seeds, when it splutters, include urad dal, red stew, hing and curry clears out.
At the point when urad dal turns brilliant darker, include finely slashed green chillies, ginger and onion.
Fry them 2 minutes, then add all finely chopped vegetables to it and fry them for 6-8 minutes, until they cook.
STEP 4:-
After frying all vegetable hear we add 2 1/2 cup water to it and put required salt also.
Wait for 3 minutes, getting bobbles reduce to low flame
STEP 5 :-
In this stage we add roasted broken weather to it.
STEP 6 :-
Mix them well, and put a lid to it, and wait for 6 minutes, until all water will be evoprated.
STEP 7 :-
After 7 minutes, remove lid and cheat it complete cook or not, if it cook transfer to serving bowl, if it not cook wait for until it cook completely.
STEP 8:-
Now garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves, and serve with hot.
Now tasty healthy nutrition breakfast SAMBA RAVA UPMMA is ready.
It has some different taste and aroma smell also. It is best combination with coconut chutney or any pickle is enough.

I really don't love upma when it is made with upma rava.I would eat it in extreme condition. Maybe the dish you've mentioned seems to energize my taste. Gonna message my mom :) , thanks for sharing mam.
