The aim of war on drugs is to reduce or get rid of illegal drug trades. There are some countries who have declared war on drugs, like Columbia, America, and Thailand. These countries want to eradicate all illegal drugs related, who are supplying drugs to the their people. As we all know, illegal drugs make people addicted that can destroy their minds and lead them to make a foul actions to other people. Like murder and rape are an enough reasons to punish them under the governmental laws. The three samples Countries that i mentioned who imposed the war on drugs to their nations did not last long, because the reality did not help out with their expectation to be happened. Their main expectation was to reduce or eradicate the illegal drug trade, their government have done everything for this problem like killing some drug lords and dealers. Eventually, the reality has shown to them the outcome that they have killed a lot of lives of their own people and mostly of them are innocent. And now the Philippines is currently doing this kind of war under the mandatory and administration of Roa Rudrigo Duterte as the elected president. As what have happened to Columbia, Thailand and American. The consequence they got has failed them and It is possible that could also happen in the Philippines. As a Filipino citizen I am not affirmative with this war on drugs in my country, because I know from the start that this is not a good thing to be declared.

In Columbia, after the day of declaration of war on drugs. They have gained successes and failures. The country has defeated big and serious criminal syndicates like the Medellin drug cartel, which threatened the democracy of the Colombian state. In contrary, the country failed to stop the production of coca leaves. These leaves are the main ingredient to make a cocaine, and the cultivation of this plant continues to rise in this country with a 40 percent increase in a coca crop area from 69,000 hectares in 2014 to 96,000 hectares in 2015. According to the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crimes in July 2016. Shows that the drug business in colombia is booming. The colombian government has stopped the war on drugs in its country, because its people were afraid to go out in their houses for a big tendency that they could have killed during the severe war against illegal drugs. And the colombian people has been living more difficult, they can't work freely and make their children go to school. Because the country can't control the illegal drugs, even they have killed the big syndicates there are still small groups who are producing illegal drugs. Thus, the colombian government has decided to capture the people who are involved of illegal drugs. In order that, its people won't live in fear by their own country and they can do what they want freely.

Thailand has also declared a war on drugs in its nation, under the admistration of Thaksin Shinawatra as the prime minister. His policemen have killed 2,500 people, which they believed that these are all drug dealers. And the prime minister has proclaimed victory after three the three months of operation against the illegal drugs. But some local governors and police officers have a collaboration to eliminate their accomplices to avoid betrayal. And after the official investagation of the nation, what they have believed for a long time that they have killed 2,500 were all drug dealers. Which in not totally true. Because 1,400 people out of the 2,500 killed as part of the war on drugs had nothing to do with drugs. This war on drugs campaign of thailand's prime minister, was so bloody and violent. But at the end, he has still managed to control his country's problem. He stopped his war on drugs campaign after killing those 1,400 people who were innocent. He has realized that this isn't a good campaign for him to reduce or eradicate the illegal drugs in his country.

Rodrigo Roa Duterte is the current president of the Philippines has proclaimed the war on drugs in his country. For the record, this campaign of him has killed a lot of filipinos for almost 7,000 people for they were totally involved of illegal drug trades. Because of this campaign, a lot of our neighbor countries have condemned the bloody movement. And according to the investigation, the major supplier of illegal drugs are Chinese and not Filipinos. For they import their illegal drugs in the Philipines. And a lot of chinese drug lords have arrested and none of them have died. A lot filipinos and other people from other countries got in rage in this bloody campaign of president Duterte's administration. For it isn't fair that he killed a lot of filipinos which were his own people and none of those chinese drug lords.

In conclusion, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte must also stop his bloody campaign against illegal drugs, for it isn't a good system to eradicate it in the country. Like what Colombia, Thailand and America did in their countries.
