Yesterday checked out various video resources on Dtube. Unfortunately only 1/3 videos would play of those surveyed. The higher paying video was the one that paid out, none of the videos seemed recent, so perhaps for not sufficiently popular videos they throttle down videos after 7 days, or hopefully its not just running well for unpopular producers. Would be better to just screen them out until the resources are there to make their video hosting useful.

Today I searched guitar on bitchute. Unlike how the videos on d tube seemed more concerned with guitar lessons, the top 3 on bitchute are a guitar shop, general guitar, and a video perhaps about birds of central florida.

When clicking on the videos I discovered they were just profiles, not videos necessarily, the first one the guitar shop had no content, so not smart to have that be the first one getting these eyeballs. The second one also a channel seemed to have content like that below that has no real visual aspects and focuses on audio. So perhaps more appropriate for dsound.

The third link clicked on loaded well and had video of birds, maybe some content about guitar was in there. Overall not really great searches.

I have tried to get into lbry and at somepoint may try again. Interesting these youtube competitors seem to have basic flaws. Bitchute seems to have better running videos, but the searching is not as great. Dtube seems to not really run well at least for older videos, that were not very popular.

Hopefully as time advances to infinity the market allocates the incentives for video hosting providers to help creators, find, monetize and expand their audiences while fighting human boredom. Tomorrow will examine youtube.
