Bireuen Regent Receives Visit from Palestinian Cleric.
Bireuen Regent, H Mukhlis ST, Friday (7/3/2025) received a visit from a cleric from Palestine, Sheikh Barjas Daoud Salih Elawar in his office.
The visit of the cleric from Palestine was in the context of a silaturahmi in Bireuen which was scheduled for 3 days.
The Chairman of the Palestinian People's National Committee (KNRP) Bireuen Yusriadi SH accompanied by the Head of the Prokopim Section of the Bireuen District Secretariat Azmi SKom MM said that the agenda of the Palestinian Sheikh while in Bireuen was to raise donations for his Palestinian Muslim brothers and sisters.
In addition, he provided the latest information regarding the Al-Aqsa Mosque which is the first direction of prayer for Muslims and the conditions in Gaza.
The Bireuen Regent accompanied by the Assistant for Government, Aceh Special Region and People's Welfare, Head of the Islamic Sharia Office, Head of the Dayah Education Office welcomed and was open to the arrival of the cleric from Palestine.
He also listened carefully to the information conveyed by the sheikh from Palestine.
"We accept it openly, especially since this is to raise donations for our Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine," said the Regent of Bireuen.
It is hoped that the assistance that will be collected will prioritize transparency and accountability and ensure that the donations distributed are right on target and have a positive impact on the recipients of the assistance.
"We pray that in this blessed month, Allah will make things easier for our Muslim brothers and sisters throughout the world," hoped H. Mukhlis S.T, Regent of Bireuen.
