One House Burns Down in Bireuen, Firefighters Successfully Extinguish the Fire.

A fire disaster occurred in Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Wednesday, April 30, 2025. One permanent two-story construction house burned down in Bireuen Meunasah Blang Village, Kota Juang District, at around 02.25 WIB.

The cause of the fire in the house belonging to Nurhayati M Daud (48 years old), a housewife, who sells egg martabak every day is not yet known. The house is occupied by her children Nurul Fazila (19 years old), and Ikhsan Nulfata (16 years old).

There were no fatalities in the incident, only material losses. Four fire engines from the Bireuen City main post and one fire engine from the Juli District assistant post were deployed to the location, to carry out extinguishing efforts and cool the location until 03.40 WIB.

Nurhayati M Daud at the location said that when the incident happened, she was already asleep, her son Nurul Fazila was still playing on his cell phone in his room on the second floor.

Meanwhile, Ikhsan Nulfata is still in Dayah. Then Nurul saw a fire in the back room on the second floor so she and her child ran out to save themselves and asked neighbors for help.

"I was in the upstairs room, still not asleep, still playing on my cell phone, suddenly Nurul saw smoke, when I made sure the back room was on fire," said Nurul Fazila.

Seeing a fire in the back room on the second floor, the mother and child went outside to save themselves and asked neighbors and residents for help.

The houses were close together and a number of residents immediately helped put out the fire. The residents took quick action to provide assistance and asked for help from firefighters who quickly arrived at the location, so that the fire did not spread.

However, the second floor was completely destroyed by fire, while the first floor was prevented from causing a fire. As a result of this incident, the victim's children's room on the second floor and all its contents burned down.
