Why are the planes white?

Each airline has its own logo printed and featured on the aircraft, but they are all very similar - because they are white. Scientists claim that white traces are nothing unusual and do not give cause for concern. These are the condensation traces, the visible traces of condensed vapor generated behind the jet engine exhaust. Usually, they occur when an airplane flight over 8,000 meters where the air temperature is below -40 Celsius. When cooling a hot exhaust jet behind a plane, a cloud of tiny droplets of water is formed. If the surrounding air is sufficiently cold, the trail behind the aircraft will consist of tiny ice crystals.
