New project announcement! Pinochet Simulator - AK47 model 1
So I've finally decided for certain what I'm going to be doing for my latest project and I'm pretty excited because I'm being far more realistic with this one and it's a category of game I'm really, really into, an FPS. I had originally thought about calling it "Kill a commie" but thought that wasn't provocative enough and decided on "Pinochet Simulator" it's a game where you come up with all kinds of creative ways to kill Communists and anti-capitalists generally, your enemies will be stereotypes. I'm going to have to have a think about how to do the character models and stuff but we'll just have to see what happens as I set up the basic mechanics.
Yes, I know, it's totally psychotic but it's something I've been pondering on for awhile now and I've also been thinking about Glory to the patriarchy but I reckon that game would take longer to make than this one with the animation and so on. With Pinochet simulator however I think it will be pretty simple to set up and here's the kicker, with virtue signalling and outrage mobs being the trend lately I've decided quite openly capitalise on that.
It will be extremely interesting to see what happens, how much will the anti-capitalists screech about me creating a game about killing communists etc. RL? Will they react at all? Will I end up in jail? Well at least we'll hopefully get a decent game out of it.
I have just started off doing a model of the humble AK47 and uploaded a video for you of the progress, you can see what's going on for yourself just by watching and I'm using some photo reference. I think it will be great practice this game for my later alien shooter project I'm thinking about as I was rather fed up of the gun model I had before.
After I get a basic AK47 model done I will also be fiddling around more with ragdoll physics and will have more to show you, I am going to go absolutely nuts with this game once I am finished with Rabbit and the moon and that is uploaded.
