Rabbit and the moon - My plan for release day
So with my playtesting going so well I think I've decided I will be quite radical, the game itself is pretty much there, all the content is in place and as I've mentioned in previous posts I just need to keep tweaking settings each level. I am extremely eager to get this game uploaded now because I'm playing it and what's nice is I'm finding it entertaining.
However, one very obvious feature is rearing it's head at me and that's the third party patching software I've got, now I have definitely got plans to release more content for this game in the future for free. I know though that if I spend too long trying to get this patching software working it will just make finishing the game more tedious and I won't have the newer game content ready for upload anyway.
I think this will work and I'm going to do it but I wanted to let people know what was going on which is why I made this blog in the first place and as for releasing the game without the patching software it will give people access to the game earlier and I can just re-upload the full game with the patching software after release.
Let's see how this goes! I'm almost at the asteroid levels now with the playtesting I'll be making a new post eventually on that. This is one of the advantages of me not being at the mercy of a publisher and being completely independent.
