SSG-Community Contest: What Steemian is special to YOU?

Recently I found a post which caught my attention because of the debate expressed on the comments. It is worth to read through them to form a personal opinion of what #NewSteem means and how we all have to adjust in this new philosophy of interactions between users and content. The controversy was finally solved through dialogue, now a new Contest has arisen under the organization of the @SSG-Community, or #SteemSilverGold, and a new opportunity for all steemians to interact with them. That post reminded me of an old friend who left this platform but was a great enthusiast of gold and silver assets and of course was an active member of this SSG Community on Steem. He is @Pawos, from whom I did always receive support and encouraging words in my first steps on this blockchain. (Here he is receiving his Steem silver round last year).

An opportunity is born

The @SSG-Community is in its third year of minting Steem silver rounds with impressive designs and the best material. This year they have organized a Contest in which they will offer as a prize 10 rounds. The participation consists in nominating a Steemian very special for you to offer this gift. Here you can visit the rules. It has been difficult for me to think of just one person for this gift. I would like to nominate many good friends, great creators, people working for communities in Steem. I was encouraged by @Dfinney in a comment in the post of the contest: "...shout outs and kudos are always so heart warming to see!". So this time I get carried by the intuition and the imagination of seeing her with this Steem silver round in her hands and the joy for expressing my admiration for @MadlenFox.

Walking the seassons of St. Petersburg

I met @MadlenFox also in my first days on Steemit. I found her profile and I was immediately captivated by her text:

She has been an active member since December 2016 and since then she has been sharing several aspects of the cultural life of St. Petersburg, in Russia. @MadlenFox is always willing to interact with all the people who come to visit, regardless of the reputation number and she's always willing to help the growth and good spirit of the creators on this platform with their constant visits and commitment with many users. I am sure that many participants in this contest also know her and have had incredible talks with her, being a person who always shares her great cultural background and excellent aesthetic taste in English, Russian and also in Spanish.

Photography has been the main expression by which @MadlenFox has shared his experiences on the platform, especially through the walks that have taken us through all the corners of her city and through the various seasons of the year that always have an impact on the mood of people that she knows how to capture very well. Not only photography but also her deep and reflective writing style have made every simple walk a great experience for every reader. Visiting her resteems also means to find the best opportunities and news that appear on this platform and you definitely have to attend. There I have seen the news of the main witnesses of Steem, announcements of important technological advances related to the platform and also opportunities to grow with the different curation communities to which she belongs. Also she has participated in the organization of some contests with different groups.

A new cycle

Now she enters to a new cycle of her life and artistic path, painting is now the way of expression she found to fulfill her talents. She was accepted in one of the most important Russian colleges for artistic education. In this post you can see the announcement:

I became a student of the Russian Academy of arts named after Repin in St. Petersburg. This higher education institution in the field of fine arts, which was founded by Peter the Great in 1757 and still it is one of the leading in the field of academic education in the world. Students from different countries gain here knowledge and skills in the field of painting, sculpture and architecture.

She will keep sharing her experiences in the academic field which will be great for all the artists here who could exchange knowledge and techniques which she will be getting from her studies and scholar projects.

In conclusion, I think the Steem silver round is the better way to reward such an active and productive presence in this platform and the future progress for this great steemian who has brought us quality in every content and relation she has made in the Steem blockchain.
