RE: Hey Mr. POTUS, I WANT MY ART, do you mind?

"protecting freedom of the press and freedom of artistic expression."

I don't see how this is a problem. These are free-market entities who removed people they considered toxic to their brand based on a profit motive. They are just catering to an audience, where's the coercion?

"causing dozens of deaths daily, racist crimes, the deportation and persecution of immigrants "

Can you provide some evidence for these events?

You are an excellent writer. Your thoughts are well organized and persuasive. While I agree with your thoughts on free speech, I think your argument is one sided.

The people that disagreed with Griffin and the Shakespeare play exercised their freedom of speech peacefully and exerted their displeasure through the threat of not doing business with the sponsors of these artists. This is well within their rights.

What you didn't mention is the other side that attempts to shut down speakers on college campuses through violence, riots and destruction. Which is well outside of their rights. What about them?

Thanks for expressing very clear what I was starting to think when was finish reading the post.

looking it from the other side of the river ....
