You should all be proud of what you've accomplished! I have 'LEET followers! :)

There's this thing called "1337-speak" ("leet-speak") where you write with numbers instead of letters. @otage has gotten good at this, if memory serves (which it often doesn't...). "Leet" is short for "elite", as in, a step above.

I managed to capture this just now:

All y'all are 'leet, I tell you what! :)

I regularly "read" license plates this way:

0 = O (oh), or sometimes D
1 = L or I (capital i)
2 = Z
3 = E
4 = A
5 = S
6 = G, or sometimes b
7 = T
8 = B
9 = G

As you can see, there are many more "G"s than other letters, since both 6 and 9 make them -- although recently, I decided that 6 could be a lowercase "b", so now there are fewer. :) I also added the "D" for zero recently as well.

Often I will "insert vowels" (without having to purchase them :) ), and I try to make each six-letter license plate into two or three words, usually three. So something like "76MY87" could be three words, "tag my butt". I remember having seen a "53XB46" before, "sex bag", as well. I'm sure there are some other unfortunate license places, once translated this way!

I think it's neat as there are so many that are amusing -- and, some which could tell, or be part of, a story. I think that's really cool, and actually I had the thought within the last year that if I was a writer, and I had writer's block, I could go for a drive and get some inspiration from "reading" the license plates.

"Professor Plum, in the Parlor, with the Lead Pipe." :)

When I was in college, we had this smoking apparatus I had purchased from a hardware store -- an elbow, and a six-inch piece. We called it "The Lead Pipe" and made Clue references. Enjoy! :D

i in no way do that and neither i read any quantity plates so intently however i like resemblance you create among numbers and letter's, i should tell my friends approximately this and i hope they prefer it too, thank you for sharing best flame painting and some specific mind with us, stay brilliant

LOL! Great catch! From leet posts to leet followers. The artistic 53X B46 illustration is hilarious and the perfect illustration for this leetistic post!

:) I also noticed that you're all in a "league" of your own, as I mentioned to @fishyculture just now:

LEAG followers nice!

And I was anticipating this one and almost missed it, but captured from a tab I had loaded an hour or so ago. I think you mentioned being a fan of 80s music? :)

Yes love it!! Nice catch!

You have a weird mind, lol. Can't say that I don't for that matter, haha :P

This is high praise. Thank you! :D

I like what did there, @libertyteeth
For the record de Tunisians de have a similar coding for Arabic letters when we use AZERTY keyboard, for instance shape and numbers wich i similar to Arabic letters ع=3, ح=7, ء =2 ans so on, great post, and I'm following u now

Neat, thanks! One of my accomplishments in language was learning Brazilian Portuguese to the point where I could make humor in the language. That was really neat. I love seeing reflections of insights in other languages, and even more, there are sometimes concepts expressed in a single word for which we have no equivalent, like "saudade" which is similar to "homesickness" but means a lot more.

Or like the Eskimos, who have a variety of single words for different types of snow -- because walking on the wrong kind can be life-risking, so important concepts get their own words!

Absolutely true, and i love learning foreign language, i started learning turkish coz i had a turkish gf, i recommend pimsleur it's a form of audio lessons 50 pieces each one lasts for 30min very helpful and amusing, looking forward to see u r next post.
Settemi d badoooo lol😂

Yes, I love the Pimsleur method, the varied repetition definitely helps with retention!

I've used their Brazilian Portuguese first, and later, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, and I think a few others, to varying degrees. Was married to a Brazilian which helped me become fluent in that -- never achieved fluency in the others, but what's neat is the Russian has similar sounds as Portuguese (rolling the R, etc) -- so much so that a Russian-speaking coworker years ago told me she had gone to a party, where everyone was speaking English, and a Brazilian asked her where in Brazil she was from! :)

Wow impressive language resumes, i like expressive and talkative people also, coz I'm one of them lol, perhaps I can chat on discord, u can add me at @racemlaadhar.
Cheers 😁😁😁

Thanks! I also took some French in high school, but forgot most of it. However -- it did help prepare me for learning the "romance languages'" and their lack of "it", as in all objects have a gender.

I think I have been on discord once, or a couple times (I'm rather forgetful due to recovering from multiple concussions).

I like being able to look back at what I (and others) have written, as a result, and thus the instant-message nature of discord is less appealing to me. Thanks though, I'm not ruling it out completely! :)

Sure you are, and thnks for your instant replies, I m very grateful, i love interacting on steemit, way much better than Facebook, people here are so cool, and don't neglect people. Such i, even steemit girls they reply on time, wow this is wonderful

Moving Uptown, buddy! Congratulations on becoming one of the eLEET 😋
Ps: I nominated you today for the Seven Day Black and White Challenge • ( #sevendaybnwchallenge )

I'd love to see a week in the life of @libertyteeth in black and white!

Hey thanks! Not sure I'm yet willing to do selfies... This skin condition seems to be running its course, but in the meantime I've grown a full beard and long hair, both to hide the blotches and also because getting a haircut involves dragging a comb across my scalp, which is very, very sensitive from all the flaking.

But, perhaps soon! :)

Actually, that's one rule: no people ;) just nature, objects, or otherwise (in b&w)
I'm the selfie type either, so that's why I did this one..lol
I hope you consider it, I'd love to see your photos like a dog sees them 😆

Funny! Yeah I admit I do this as well. Just have to remember to do it at stop lights and not in rush hour traffic! :-D

LOL I've gotten so good at it, I can read oncoming license plates! Not on the highway, yet. :)

"Yet"...meaning it is something to keep practicing!! HAHAHA

Yep! It practices itself, I have little control. :)

Years ago I had a boss who wanted to get a plate that said "QQQQ."
He hoped the DMV would not notice he was saying "F*ck you!" to them... lol!

Oh, and -- a day later, there are 'leet cryptocurrencies at coinmarketcap!

Hey, maybe you should become a market psychic?lol!

LOL! I came back here today to say, "You're all in a 'league' of your own!" :) --

I am predicting LTC (Litecoin) will jump up tomorrow, and am about to make a post about it.

LOL that's funny! My take on it would have been "That's how Cooter laughed, on Dukes of Hazzard." :)

Crypto with crypto :)
