"The geatest success we'll ever know is helping others succeed and grow"

Ever since I decided to be an active user in steemit, I once became a soloist. Soloist in the sense that, I don't usually engage with other people for I am just a "shy type-boy" and what I just did on my first week in steemit was read-post-waiting for upvotes-read-post and the cycle repeated, I didn't know how to connect with some groups in steemit as well.

Until such time a friend of mine, @jaderpogi who introduced me to this platform, told me that I should interact with other people in which also stated in some articles I have already read. So i started dealing with other steemit users and he then introduced me to this family, Steemph.cebu.

Just like others who were still new, I was a bit shy during my first day with the family. I introduced myself to them in our facebook group chat and helped me to promote and support my posts.

I used to see some blogs involving steemph.cebu's meet up. But now, I was able to join them for the first time.

The venue was at Marisse Patisserie, 32 Sanson Road, Lahug, Cebu City which is a very wonderful place to chill out since it has a lot of greens and a "no swimming swimming pool" lol just kidding, but the place was really beautiful.

The first thing we did was interacting with other cebuano steemians and make friends with them. I wasn't expecting that there were so many of us and its still increasing day by day, hopefully.

We also had our Steemit beatbox Recording before the meeting started and we were representing STEEMIT BEATBOX COMMUNITY to the family which is founded by my friend @jaderpogi.

I'm their designer/singer/camera-man and as well a beatboxer but, not as good as my co-steemit beatboxers though.

After the recording, we were gathered to hear some instructions. The core leaders of steemph.cebu were also introduced.

But before the short forum had started, our group which is STEEMIT BEATBOX COMMUNITY presented an intermission number to entertain our co-steemians and it also served as promoting our community.

We then divided into groups which includes one for the newbies, one for the international steemians, one for the current users, and for the core leaders.

And since we are still newbies. We joined the newbies' forum together with the steemit beatbox community.

An orientation about steemit were given to newbies hosted by @steemph.cebu. Exchanging of thoughts happened during the forum and a lot of questions were answered as well. People were also very active in interacting with eachother.

Also those who haven't made their introduction posts yet, were catered and helped, they learned about how to get started in steemit.

Steemph.cebu is indeed considered as a blessing for they are helping us, new users in steemit not just filipinos but also international steemians. Plus the cebu steemit bloggers were also a great help on the totality of the forum. They also let us ask questions regarding to steemit.

So far so good! I've learned a lot about steemit such as, how to earn more, to post quality contents and all the things that puzzled me for a very long time were already answered. I've learned as well that the people built this family are stewards of goodwill for taking the first step in exterminating poverty by means of promoting steemit to others, especially who are in need.

The forum had ended very well leaving the people full of energy to post and minds full of information to share.

Before going home, I decided to take some walks and since I was mesmerized by the ambiance of the place, I then took some pictures for remembrance :)

After the short walk, feeling the ambiance, thinking of the memories we will be leaving to the place, short talk with other steemians, we decided to go home to our respected houses.
