I wonder - Imprinted by LightCaptured
Greetings!
My post today is to place some wishes to all of you for a better new week and to share some thoughts and obviously, place some questions. Evidently, our human minds are quite selective and we tend to "turn" the more distant places into more "attractive" or beautiful. We call some destinations "exotic" where local people, actually live some quite ordinary life and nothing feels exotic to them. I guess that goes two ways and for them, my country would look pretty exotic, right :)
My thought today, though, are not about a distant country but about one of our neighboring countries - Romania.
There are probably just a handful of my compatriots who would even mention they traveled in Romania. I really don't know why is that, as Romania, I find quite beautiful, it's really a vast country with plenty to discover.
Not only from photographic perspective. It is so rich in culture, architecture, arts, history.
Probably it doesn't look so "appealing" to the most of my compatriots exactly because of that, the fact we are connected in so many ways...
Perhaps one day I will analyze that more ;)

The divider I use in my posts I have created in Adobe Express.
You know that usually people don't know the places where they live very well. That in the first place. Second, yes, the neighbors are too close, let's explore further places first. We can always skip to the neighbors, just like that, quickly and easily. They are at your fingertips. And as we speak, there may never actually be time left for these neighboring countries. Sometimes there is no time even for one's own country. (While there are actually people who do the exact opposite - travel almost exclusively within their own country, possibly to a neighbor once.)
Being the first type of person, I wouldn't have thought of traveling to Romania either, 😄 but I went there once, taken by another person, and I was fascinated! After all, there is so much to see, discover and explore in any country, near or far. Regardless of our attitudes on the matter.
