My Actifit Report Card: January 7 2020

I managed to get out today and play a couple rounds of disc golf with my buddies. We played a short nine basket round with three people and then played a team round with four people.

It was really windy again today and very grey sky looking:

The disc golf course was amazingly dry for the amount of rain that we have been experiencing lately. I think the forested areas and the ground here helps wick the moisture away.

Yesterday it was raining hard almost all day and I did not get a chance to get out at all. It was really nice to be able to ride my e-bike and play disc golf today.

The river was really high so it was not a day that you wanted to take any risky throws too close to the river bank. There were a lot of big logs and debris floating down the river.

Tomorrow it is supposed to be colder but not too rainy in the morning. I hope to get out again and play a more difficult course. Sounds like it is very soggy though.

There has been some warnings about landslides and flooding around here. The road next to the disc golf course was closed off so we had to move the cars and my e-bike to a different parking lot. I think they are just preparing for the river breaching the banks and flooding the road but there was not that much water on the road yet.

There is a little water running in the gully in my backyard. It is a seasonal thing and water usually does not run there.
