My Actifit Report Card: January 10 2020

There was snow on the ground again this morning, but it was not too much and it did not last long. When it warmed up I rode down to the local disc golf course on my e-bike and played a couple rounds of disc golf.

On the first round I scored a two over par but on the second round the wind was starting to pick up. By the time I was done it was starting to rain again. I scored seven over par on the second round.

On a long drive the wind turned up the Tern disc and it traveled out of bounds. I didn't feel like marking it near the out of bounds line because the course was really muddy so I just threw it again from the tee.

I like the Pro plastic on the new Tern I bought as a replacement for the last one I lost. It is starting to break in already and is flippy and goes a really long ways without so much effort. I just have to be really careful about the wind and I misjudged it a bit today.

I think that as the edges get wear, the little imperfections help the air turbulence somehow, kind of like the dimples on a golf ball. It seems like I can get a bit more distance out of a disc that is broken in just a bit.

The orange color discs are easy to find in a variety of places.

This time of year the grass doesn't grow much; I think it is because of the cooler temperatures and less light. It stays nice and green through most of the year. I like this season because you don't need to mow all the time but it is a bit muddy.

Most people never water their grass around here. It does turn brown during parts of the summer but comes back to green as soon as the rainy season starts.
