Hello, no it is not needed. If you just want liquid payout without beneficiaries, just set "likwid" as 100% beneficiary and that is all. You can set beneficiaries from any other editor (like steemit.com or steempeak.com).

@likwid when using your services... To get the full payout.. Do you have to write the article through the steemium website or not?
