LIGHT FROM THE WORD || YOU ARE MORE THAN THIS!!
Suppose you stood in a vast forest and was asked to describe what you saw. You might say that you saw trees, plants, flowers, insects, birds and animals.
But in truth, that is what you saw but it is not all you would be seeing. Within each of those things are the seeds of more tress, plants, flowers, insects, birds and animals.

Your observation could be facts but not truth. Thus, everything contains more than it is presently. There is something you can do that you have not yet done; there is definitely somebody you can be that you have not yet been; there's a level you can reach that you have not yet reached. There is something you can see that you have not yet seen; and there's something you can accomplish that you have not yet accomplished.
Inside the Israelites lied a blessed, formidable and great nation. But unfortunately, they were languishing in Egyptian servitude contrary to God's intention and design, though this was afore prophesied. Despite all their labour, all they were getting was daily food just enough to keep them up and running.
"Pharaoh said, 'I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the Lord your God in the desert, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me." - Exodus 8:28
At a point, Pharaoh gave them a partial freedom so that they will remain at that pitiable level of survival.
There are visible and invisible forces, as well as situation and circumstances that are all out to shrink you to nothing. It will begin from having the mentality that all you need is just to survive. Except you think beyond survival, it will be pretty difficult, if not impossible to achieve anything extraordinary.
Except you push harder and further; except you force yourself out of your present convenience, you will spend the rest of your life as a second class citizen, you may never go far in life, you may end your life on the note of average.
So, stretch yourself to reach higher, go further, see farther and grasp something greater than you now know. You are truly more than this. Have a wonderful day.

The Light." It is certainly not a claim that suggests that he walked around like a glowing light bulb, like some god all aglow. While on earth he had the natural appearance of a man. However, heavenly beings are described to us as displaying light – like the angel that came to Joseph and to Mary. God himself is described as light, like in Ps. 104:2, "He wraps himself in light as with a garment." With Moses, God shows him his glory but hides him in a rock so that he is only allowed to see God’s back (Ex. 33). In the book of Revelation, Jesus, the Son of Man, is described in this way, "His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance" (Rev. 1:16).
There was a parishioner that talked about something similar, didn't get his name but his sermon sure struck a cord,he said we should never be content with just average that we could do so much more if we pushes harder!! And that's the reality of life👌
