I visited the Cherag Ali Fruit Market in Tongi, Gazipur. The place is located right next to the Tongi Cherag Ali Bus Stand on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway. This area is essentially a vibrant and busy wholesale and retail fruit market. Apples and a variety of other fruits are available here all year round. This market is very popular and plays an important role in meeting the daily fruit needs of the locals.

The environmental situation of Tongi's Cherag Ali Fruit Market is quite sensitive. Due to overcrowding and its location next to the highway, it is highly affected by dust and black smoke from vehicles. Garbage and plastic bags accumulate. However, in recent times, the waste inside the market has been quickly removed. In addition, the quality of the environment has improved slightly compared to before, due to the large amount of fruit being decomposed every day and regular cleaning initiatives.

Service ⭐⭐⭐ Although the wholesale facilities are good, it is a bit late to get service due to the crowd of retailers.
Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The price is quite low compared to other markets.
The experience was quite noisy and crowded as it was next to the highway. However, the experience of seeing and buying all kinds of fresh local and foreign fruits at affordable prices was, in a word, extraordinary. I had a wonderful time there.
