That was the first message I have received from our dear super busy @buzz.lightyear who has been working very hard to get his first introduction white paper 22 days ago after the deadline @karinzdailygrind and myself who were, out of a casual conversation asked, "so when are you starting?"

Of course, I myself have been pretty busy the last few months attending a lot of things in the real world (out of Steemit), but since I have not been to any of the meetups unlike the rest of #teammalaysia family members I have decided to make a point, reschedule my time table and squeeze in a short morning to witness something that could make a huge impact to the world.

Today is @buzz.lightyear 's big day sharing the first glimpse of his lifetime mission , EMPOWER first reveal

(Before he bravely embarks a world tour when his team is ready with the prototype)

I have seriously not been to talks like these for a really long time, and this time I actually brought a friend with me as I wanted her to experience something that she might not have a chance to sit in and hear this in her lifetime.

(Although I digress, anything can happen!)

We have a lovely Moroccan who was the emcee for the day and since English was not her first language, it was a lot more challenging for her to speak with a public group but that soon was out of the picture as she embraced it with the mic.

I am not going to literally burst the details of Jason (the buzz lightyear)'s sharing since I am hoping that @zord189 could catch him for a short #teammalaysia Teh Tarik session tomorrow (hopefully) to reveal a little more of his mega mission and project; but I would just try to summarise it over here as far as I could muster to catch the few key words Jason pointed out.

For a person who views and cherishes the world, loves technology and advancement would mostly hope that there would have a way to freely use energy (electricity) and at the same time hopes to lessen the taxation on this beautiful blue and green planet as long as they stay in it, would love this idea.

So as a person who sees potential in crypto currency; how does it feel to you if you are offered a plan to enjoy some part of renewable energy and getting incentives at the same time from mining its crypto (without over power draining processors like antminers) ?

(and later you can use it for other things like what Team Malaysia and many other initiatives in #Steemit has been building to achieve for Steem?)

That's the basic summary of what Empower CAN offer.

A hopeful vision to achieve a worldwide collaboration to lessen carbon footprint and at the same time, embracing the blockchain technology for a better economy alternative in 50 years time.

 
To be honest, 50 years to many young people could be a long time; but if you are doing something really impacting lives could just be a blink of an eye.

(this just reminded the then rather cheezy vision 2020 Tun Dr. M launched decades ago; and now, we are only 2 years before 2020)

Other than Jason's talk, I was also able to have a brief chat with our lovely emcee who told me she has met the #teammalaysia family members at @bitcoinmalaysia 's talk recently, and she is very much into #cryptocurrency and will be joining us in our discord as soon as she has her Steemit account approved.

I also get to listen to another ICO launch by another bold visionary who has a mission to reignite kindness with token incentives and already has the app ready and about to launch soon in the United States.

And guess what? This is the very guy who drove KL city blindfolded to raise funds for the blind in 1999.

He reminds me of a phrase

go BIG, or go home

and what he is hoping to revolutionise is to just reignite kindness of people (with a little extra incentive). This is to me is kind of a decentralised way to keep the world going, instead of relying monopolized services and getting stuck forever in the consumer side of the line.


So this goes my morning. A very interesting and fruitful day to start with for the weekend. What's better to witness someone's life truly changing with a step of faith ?
