What is trust?

Trust is the term used to describe our desire to do what is right or at least acceptable to us, whether we are acting out of fear, ignorance or desire, while also being aware of the consequences.

People do and do not trust each other, and there is no end to this behavior. It is important to understand that we have an inherent need to cooperate with others, and to do so in ways that make sense to us.

The difference exists in our minds and feelings, not in reality. It would have been more beneficial to be honest with ourselves about this, than to lie to our partners or relatives.

While it would be good for a society not to engage in such behavior, it is better for every individual to be honest with himself, so we can trust each other.

According to me trust means confidence. It has nothing to do with a desire to do what is right.

If you trust your friends/familie/dog you feel save with them and know you can count on them.
