GETTING PAID TO BE SOMEONE'S "BITCH"

in #secret-writers8 years ago (edited)

Yes, that's right. We all get paid to be someone's "BITCH". Think about it. When you apply at a job, and get hired, you are required to follow all rules and regulations that come along with being an employee with that company. What does that make us? Someone's bitch. And please, excuse my language.

I'm not calling anyone a bitch literally but you know what I mean, right? When they tell us to jump, we say "how high".

Unfortunately, these are the things we DO to keep a roof over our heads, food in our stomachs, and clothing on our backs. It's not fun being someone's bitch. Sometimes it's better to just stay home but how would we ever make money? You need money to make money. And most of us do NOT know how to start a business anyways.

So we are stuck working for the big guys.

Obviously you know that these guys are getting PAID big bucks to tell us "little people" what to do. Wouldn't it be awesome to boss someone else around for a change? I know I've thought about it. Having the opportunity to be able to sit back and relax while others do all the work, would be AMAZING!

Thank goodness for programs/systems like STEEMIT that gives us all the opportunity to stop being that "bitch". If only this had been created LONG ago. But what can we do? Luckily it's here now and I am a part of it! And you too!

Being someone's "bitch" also has it's perks. You may get promotions, meaning you, with then become a supervisor or manager and have the capabilities of telling others what to do. Obviously, you would still quack and squeak to the BIG BOSS, but you get the privilege of telling others what to do.

I'm tired of being someone's "bitch". Are you?

Welcome to capitalism! Haha.

I've always found that working can bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose for me, as long as the job is something I enjoy, provides me enough freedom to explore my own ambitions, challenges me to learn, allows me to grow, and is something I can get excited about for reasons other than a monthly paycheck.

But sadly, there are too many jobs in the world that are NOT that. I've worked plenty of them over the years, and it sounds like you have, too. Sacrificing your own goals and potential for the sake of someone else's dream and the illusion of financial security is a hollow way to spend your life's energy, and your time (both of which are precious, and finite!) Sometimes it can seem like we have no choice - we gotta do the "bitch" job, bend over and take it, just to survive and make ends meet.

When it comes to work, most of us are prostitutes in one way or another - it's just a matter of choosing who we'd prefer to be screwed by!

I hope that we have more innovations like Steem in the future, so we might be exposed to a wider range of choices for how we work, think, live, contribute and relate to the world around us. In the meantime, keep up the good posts. You seem to be really motivated to live the life you want, unburdened by any financial ball and chain that society may try to impose on you. I bet you'll have a reliable, rewarding source of income in no time! :)
