Are God and Jesus the same person. No? Who should I listen to then?
When I was a child, I believed I was born with a special power, a power to tell when something is not true.
Not really...
it's just a lot of my friends and cousins were liars, so I was forced to develop a skill to tell when someone is lying.
Life's proven to me that the world is nothing but lies and deceptions.
Am I blind, or stupid , was my question when I first entered Religion Education in the local church.
Who is this Jesus, and how was Maria pregnant without conceiving a child? I thought God was Jesus' dad.
What language did they speak? How did God create earth, if Jesus was born in year 0, and there were people born before him?!
All these questions were answered for me throughout the years, but one thing that up until now, still isn't clear to me
Who was the first person to get screwed by going to Church Education ??
Q&A: If Brazil play Argentina, and Marcelo is praying on one, Carlos Tevez on the other side of the pitch, whose prayers would God answer:
A) Tevez, cause he looks stupider, so God feels sorry for him
B) Marcelo, cause of his pretty locks
C) Nobody, cause he'd rather watch the game
D )Wait.. isn't Marcelo God ?

The value of religious education is highly dependent upon the teacher.
Just like any type of education you can obtain. The majority repeat what they were told and believe that to be truth (maybe b/c it's easier?) while a much smaller percentage of people question everything in order to gain a deeper understanding.
The latter usually make the best teachers and they exist, albeit in small quantities, in any religious institution. Unfortunately, many religious institutions will try to whip the "truth" into you via fear.
