PLEASURE TO RECEIVE
Hi to all the brothers in Christ of this Christian community.
Man was created in dependence on God, because everything that exists comes from God.
Man receives everything from God = food, wisdom and knowledge.
The healing of the soul and the diseases of the body, and the liberations, during our walk on earth.
God is God blessing; MAN CREATED TO HAVE JOY IN HIM
But man, in his fallen nature, is no longer satisfied with his life and the way he lives it:
We want to be recognized, but we have no merit for that;
We only want to receive, but we don't want to share what we already have;
We want to receive gratitude, but we are not grateful;
We want forgiveness, but we do not forgive;
We want to be recognized, but we do not recognize anyone;
We want fidelity, but we are not faithful;
We do not like people to speak ill of us, but we speak ill of many.
All this generates self-centeredness: the person centered on himself: his life, his business, his family; and everything else that manages its stability, without caring about others.
God gives us the example of Cain, who wanted to be recognized by God, but had a bad feeling for his brother and killed him. Although she took an offering to God, but was rejected because her feelings were tainted, that is a tainted offering.
God does not receive tainted offers when we live with:
Feelings of unforgiveness, of greed, of envy, of bitterness, of speaking ill of others, in prostitution, in the deceit of lies and full of greed.
FEELINGS LAUNCH US FROM GOD
We need to walk above that fallen nature. Although "in the world we will have afflictions", but good joy must be rooted in us.
THE LORD JESUS IS THE GOOD DEVELOPMENT IN US!
That is why we need to live at every moment of our lives, firm, constant and determined to overcome any adversity that tries to reduce our joy, our Christian journey.
God drew water from the rock, in the middle of the desert, for the people.
The Lord pours a source of joy into our lives, amidst our trials. This spring that flows from within us is to quench the thirst for life!
THEREFORE, WE NEED TO BE JOYFUL IN GOD, AT ALL TIMES. THAT'S TRUST!
THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!
The apostle Paul is pouring this spring on lives. Following what the Lord Jesus had taught: WHAT IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN RECEIVE!
"I have shown you in everything that, working in this way, it is necessary to help those in need and remember the words of the Lord Jesus himself: it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35).
