Sure God Will
Blessings dear community @ChristianFellowship, it is nice to be here, the peace of God be with everyone.
Luke 7.1-10
7 After he had finished all his words to the people who heard him, he entered Capernaum. 2 And the servant of a centurion, whom he loved very much, was sick and about to die. 3 When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent him some elders of the Jews, begging him to come and heal his servant. 4 And they came to Jesus and begged him with solicitude, saying to him: He is worthy that you grant him this; 5 because he loves our nation, and he built us a synagogue.
6 And Jesus went with them. But when they were no longer far from the house, the centurion sent some friends to him, saying: Lord, do not bother, because I am not worthy to enter under my roof; 7 for which reason I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you; but say the word, and my servant will be healed.
8 For I too am a man placed under authority, and have soldiers under my command; And I say to this one: Go, and go; and to the other: Come and come; And to my servant: Do this, and he does it.9 When he heard this, Jesus marveled at him, and turning, he said to the people who were following him: I tell you that even in Israel I have not found so much faith.10 And when I returned to Those who had been sent home found the sick servant healthy.
Give your way to the Lord; Trust him, and he will act (Ps 37.5)
In the reading, the centurion demonstrated the faith of those who understand that Jesus has the power to do what he wants. He expresses his understanding in an analogy with his own position, exemplifying the sovereignty of an order given by a superior: "If I tell my servant to do it, he will do it." Therefore, he indicated that he understood that Jesus really had a supernatural authority far superior to his, and that it would be sufficient for him to say "let this be done" for such an order to be carried out. At that time, it was noted that the centurion placed his path and trusted Jesus.
We have been living through difficult times: these are problems followed by problems, times of pain and loss, countless illnesses (within our home and also throughout the world), terrible financial crises, unemployment, crying and tears; Perhaps, as in the case of the centurion, the suffering is not directly ours, but that of someone loved. However, even in such situations, we receive a beautiful and hopeful word from the psalmist, which demonstrates the effectiveness of God's action: "Trust him, and he will act." God's action can take us out of any adverse situation and transport us to the refuge of his embrace. She supports us and gives us comfort. And even if the situation is not reversed as desired, it is still possible to believe that, being the will of God, what you do will be good, perfect, and pleasing. It will be the fulfillment of what is necessary, according to God's plan.
However, one question remains: when, after all, will this "he will act" that you expect come true? However, the real question is not the "when", but the "how", and therefore the same verse that brings the promise also presents the condition: this will happen when we yield to the Lord and trust him. So deliver, wait and you will surely see it too.
