1But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold an inheritance, 2 and subtracted from the price, his wife also knowing; and bringing only a part, he placed it at the feet of the apostles. Acts 5: 1-2

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira, his wife, sold a property, and retained part of the price, also knowing his wife; and, carrying a part, he placed it at the feet of the apostles.

What do you think when you are watching the newspaper and suddenly a story about a young man who returned the suitcase full of money to its owner?

Would you wonder about what you would do instead of that young man? Is the suitcase returned or stored?

Our attitudes reveal much more of us than our words. The attitude of that young man should be considered normal, something that did not call attention, but there is such an enormous investment of values in the world that doing good, the right one, became unusual. Type: Our! how did you get? I do not know if I would do the same when I was in his place.

What should be common becomes a source of horror, newspaper matter. Many times doing the right thing can also bring restrictions, such as being called muggle for not having pierced a row, for not having girded someone who confronted you.

Many people are worried about showing an immaculate profile. They forget that the other's gaze always sees more in us than ourselves. In the end, who claims of himself that he is a liar, a prostitute, an arrogant, a dirty mouth?

Arrogant people are certainly with their broken mirror. You can not see your true reflection. They do not manage to perceive the terrible attitudes that they express in the day to day.

Being with the broken mirror is a big problem, because how is a mirror repaired? Have you tried sticking the pieces of a mirror? It is ... the repaired mirror will always have distortions in the reflected image, it will still have the lines of division between the pieces. Only a new mirror could bring back a clear reflection of an original image.

A broken mirror, in this symbolic case, means distortion in the character, in the personality, where a person who can not see himself, see his defects, sees himself in a condition of being able to point out the faults of others without distinction.

In the previous biblical text, we see Ananias and Sapphire trying to deceive the apostles. They were at that moment wanting to demonstrate something they did not have, fidelity. They wanted to pretend to be what they were not, true. The big "x" of the question does not revolve only in the context of being liars. In reality, the broken mirror in their lives, did not allow them to see that they were mistaken, because no one deceives God, who is totally against that attitude. God does not allow himself to be mocked.

Do not try to repair your mirror. Jesus can give you a new mirror, a change of life. From the moment you change your attitudes, seeking to see your neighbor as someone who has a special love for God, regardless of whether you like it or not, enduring the faults of your neighbor, recognizing their mistakes and defects, your mirror will be changed. A new life with a new reflection. No more appearance, but a whole.

People complain about corruption, but they want to bribe the police. They complain about the dangerous holes in the roads, but ingest alcoholic beverages to drive. It has a lot of broken mirror out there.

The mistakes of others are always more apparent than ours, after all who is outside sees better. But the right thing to do is not look at others, nor place expectations on others. Look at Jesus. He is light for our walk. Let this light radiate in you and you will surely have a more beautiful reflection every day in your life, in the name of Jesus. Read the Bible, learn with Jesus.

God bless you.

Our attitudes reveal much more of us than our words. The attitude of that young man should be considered an example for us, thank you for reminding us of this sister Lorennys.
