Do What You Love To Do!
Everyone who has, is or will be on this planet came here to do something. Whatever this purpose is, it is unique for that particular person. This means each of us has a purpose in our hearts: it is inherent to our very being. This is what we must do to be truly happy. We will not feel completely content with our lives if we have not yet discovered what we have come here for. Nor will we feel satisfied if we suppress our inner love for any reason.
What is it that really calls to you? What fills you with joy? The answer to these questions should be obvious. If it is not, do not fear! The most glorious part of your journey is still ahead of you. When what you love reveals itself to you, life itself fundamentally changes. All it takes is the willingness to discover. To step off the beaten path and out of our comfort zone regularly ensures that we will perpetually discover more about ourselves. If we are honestly searching for our purpose, it is only a matter of time until it comes to us, as obvious as anything could be.
When we love something it is no longer work; labor. It becomes something we want to sink hours and days into. Instead of leaving us feeling drained, we will come home feeling refreshed with a smile on our faces. We have a sense of egoless pride doing it, and it completes our spiritual energy in a way that nothing else really touches.
Many people feel as though they cannot make a living doing what they love. This is not true at all! If we truly love something, we will put the full focus of our mind body, and spirit into it. Given that we will spend much time doing what we love, this means we will always quickly become masters of what lies in our hearts. We may not see the destination when we start plugging away at this love, but in time we will always come to see a way forward. The way we make our living with what we love may not be the same exact form, but it will always directly involve our passion.
For example, a person may love to ride horses. Nothing in the entire universe can match the feeling in their heart when they are on one of the majestic animals galloping through an open field. This person may feel that riding horses is a dead end for their career. What can they do riding horses? Race? This type of feeling is common, but all it takes is taking a step back and seeing what can be done with all that is learned. This person may realize they know a lot about raising and keeping horses, and in turn starts their own business keeping and tending to other people's horses. This may not have been their exact vision of what they desired more than anything, but it is something directly related and compliments their passion. The freedom that this work allows will directly let this person enjoy their passion directly as they work. In time, this person may even learn more tending to other people's horses to branch out and expand into similar businesses of animal care.
Fear and doubts are our greatest enemies when it comes to walking our path. Do not let them sink their teeth into you! We are divine creatures and we have a divine purpose. Love yourself and let your love carry you. Do not give into the ego's desires to fit in. When we think about what other people will think of us, how they will judge us, that is our ego talking. Let the ego go and listen to your heart! Be true and authentic to what makes you feel the most fulfilled. Whatever you feel burns inside you is what you are meant to do!
