We don't have a big garden this year. Stuff happened and we didn't have our usual starts for transplant in spring.

But guess what, it's ok.

Time To Smell The Flowers

I actually like the smell of my morning coffee. But to heed the saying, it's time to slow down and not take too much upon ourselves. Where is the drive to go go go and be a team-player? When did the word team-player start? Was it in sports? Which team are you on? Family team or Corporation team?

Most of who work for the man are always on the go, always in a hurry. No time to stop and take their time to enjoy walking or enjoy driving.

Just this morning, @iamstan and I were having a thoughtful conversation and the children are listening. We were noticing how one lady is so anxious to ride somebody's ass. She was texting and driving at that.

She might be texting her boss, I'm on my way, just a few minutes late.

One time there's a guy in a motorcycle, weaving left and right behind us. Won't pass us, just weaving behind us. So we pulled over to let him pass.

Guess what, he gave us the bird.

WTF?

Sometimes There Are Briers

Yep, there are briers in a flower patch just like this. See it on the far right?

And same goes for this world we live in. Or in Steemit! There will be assholes and there will be assholes. LOL.

But after my gratitude challenge, it has come up on my posts that if every one would just be kind and thoughtful the world would be a more tolerable place to live in. Of course there are war-stricken areas and I can't even imagine how that must be.

Why didn't I listen to that wise person, it would have saved me a bunch of failure.

But some of us don't listen (and I'm guilty of that).
