Coconut walnut
Coconut walnut is composed of several layers, of which the outer is a furry, dark brown shell, which has three holes on the lower part, followed by a thin brownish skin, then whitish cream coconut, and in the middle there are milk coconut juice or coconut water. Coconut juice is often mistakenly referred to as coconut milk, as the real coconut milk is made from a meaty white part of the coconut. This is a liquid derived from grated coconut. The color and rich taste of milk can be attributed to the high content of coconut fat.
Coconut milk contains a large proportion of lauric acid (fatty acid), which is also found in milk in large quantities. It also contains 'good' cholesterol and is generally useful for the human body. The body is converted into monolaurin, a compound that has antiviral and antibacterial activity.
Coconut milk has a wide range of applications in the kitchen, especially when preparing vegan and exotic dishes. It is rich in vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5, B6, as well as minerals of iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Coconut milk is also very effective in beauty products.
