About my favorite Cartoon

My favorite childhood cartoon is called Tom-and-jerry.
The Tom and Jerry cartoon is a short animated tv series that runs from 6 to 10 minutes. It first began in the year 1940. It has gained fame and popularity all over the world and has become one of the leading cartoons of the world. I had always watched them on the cartoon Network channel.
It was produced by Fred quimby, William Hanna, Joseph Barbera and a host of others. It was also directed by Willam Hanna, Joseph barbera, Chuck Jones and others.

The plot

the plot of the story is centered on two animal characters . Tom( a cat) and Jerry ( a mouse) always causing mayhem while fighting and trying to plot evil against each other. Tom is a house cat saddled with the responsibility of getting rid of Jerry the mouse. He uses everything he can lay his hands on, sticks guns, bombs hammers , traps etc but he never seems to succeeds. His plots to kick Jerry away always fails as Jerry is really smart and clever and most times his evil intentions backfires and he would be the one to suffer them.

In the Tom and Jerry cartoon, there is little or no dialogue or voicing. The characters remain mute and only laugh sometimes

My view on the Tom and Jerry cartoon

The Tom and Jerry cartoon happens to be my favorite. It's short and humourous, although a lot of fighting is done by the two rivals - Tom and Jerry, there isn't any bloody or gory scene in the cartoon.
It's a nice cartoon and I recommend it for everyone.
