In the battle of the informationwar - what 's the objective?
To wage war without a clear objective, is folly. History can give you countless examples of this.

To wage war with a clear objective (irrelevant of the 'rights or wrongs' of the war being fought) is to increase your chances of victory - tenfold.
But how can you 'win' anything without a defined set of things to win?
Which brings me to @informationwar on steemit.
I support the truth being told, and this is not a criticism of them, in the slightest.
This is asking questions about the objectives.

IF the objective is truth - the highest of all objectives - then it is not to found in the latest 'Q' posts, or the modern day crucifixion of Tommy Robinson, or Trumps wall, or US intervention in world affairs, or mass shooting in NZ.
These the real world events that distract us from the truth.
The truth does not lie in the latest war in congress, or withdrawals from Syria - the truth lies somewhere else altogether.
The truth lies in thought process. In philosophy. Period.
One hour learning philosophy can leverage your own self awareness.
The ability to cut through the shit we see in the media everyday- with just one hours philosophy - can save weeks of coming to the same conclusions...' by following the news'.
Philosophy doesn't distract - it focuses.
Red pilling the population is to be lauded, of course - hence not a criticism of the @informationwar's role in this this...BUT (and it's not a 'but' to negate the last sentence), if the objective is truth, then the philosophical element is- I would argue - far more important than the day to day reports of world events.
Events, are events, are events - they don't change anything, they only report on the status quo and offer opinion on the status quo.
(Re)Educating people in understanding the basic principles (principles that have wandered off into LA LA land for the last 100 years, with marxist cancer, and the no less damaging postmodernism), is THE way to obtain - in my personal objective - long lasting sanity.
Change starts in the brain - from thoughts... and clear thinking comes from philosophy.
This approach might not be the 'in your face information', not as 'glam'.... but it is the very solid foundations to real change in the future.
The perpetual carousel of the 24 hr news cycle doesn't change anything, it just keeps everyone distracted from the hard work called philosophy , that has to be done.
If people do not build their foundations of thinking- clearly - then nothing will ever change.
If there is any real chance of reaching the objective, it has to be done.
To win this war, means to find objective truth. And never lose sight of the objective.

All the world's a stage, and every set can reveal the underlying principles that are bedrock and inviolate. When news attracts eyeballs, then they are hungry to learn, and it is a good time to reveal how those principles apply to the event that drew them.

I'll say this; a good information warrior learns from the past and sees what's going on in the present in order to better understand what's going to happen in the future.

And that reading was reading the masters. The greatest works of literature and philosophy.
Today, all of those are almost "banned books".

This reloveution will be won in the few cubic inches behind the eyeballs of the masses.
Either they put down the club and agree to work together, or all hell breaks loose and the survivors agree to work together.
Hopefully, we can farm our way out of this, but I don't hold out much hope where the population can spread out like locusts once the food trucks don't arrive.
