Glory Hole Lake Berryessa
Officially named "Morning Glory Spillway", but people gave a nickname of "Glory Hole", is a famous man made with 200 feet dropped drain to prevent an overflow of Montecello Dam at lake Berryessa, Woodland. Sacramento. CA.
We weren't that lucky to see the water suck down since water is receding, Morning Glory Spillway will work in certain level of water and that most likely from February through May.

This is the spillway should look like when the water is draining down from the lip of the glory hole.
Some people enjoying the beauty of the lake on paddle board, some surf with boat, and some of them just swimming.
If you notice both sides, the road has differences, to the left get more trees and green because has a big water stream flowing along the road and to the right side tends to be more hilly and dry.
Is common in Northern California to see some bold hills and desert, while in hot summer will cause natural wildfire as the heat rises.
