Eating Before Sleep - Best and Worst Foods for Bedtime

Hello everybody!

Sleeping is most important period of the day for progress. If you want to make muscles, lose fat or whatever your goal is - you need to sleep!

Will eating before bed make you fat?
Well, it depends of what you eat!

Today I am going to show you some of the best and worst foods to eat before sleep time.




What do I eat before sleep time?
Well, my favourite food before bed is low-fat cheese with some nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, peanuts butter...)
Why do I eat that? - Because before bed we must not eat carbs! Carbs are energy but during the sleep we dont need any energy and becaouse of that, energy from carbs will go to fat.
Hovewer, low-fat cheese is full of casein (slow-release protein) and it takes more than 6 hours to digest and therefore is an excellent food before bedtime!
Nuts are full of healthy fats. Fats also slows down digestion, so, this is ideal comination before bed!

If you dont like low-fat cheese, you can buy Casein Protein powder.
It's also slow-release protein in poder with lots of flavor and it taste awesome!
You just mix one or two scoops of Casein with water or milk and drink it. Also you can eat some nuts with that and you are ready for sleep!


More food to eat before sleep time:

  • Canned Fat-free Tuna With Olive Oil
  • Low-Fat Cheese With Raw Veggies
  • Greek Yogurt With Flaxseeds
  • Salmon




What is the worst food you can eat before sleep?
For sure it is some combination of carbs and fats.
You definitely dont want to eat pizza, or sandwich before sleep every day. It will ruin your form and slow you from achievement of your goals immediately!
