(Lol the eta saying 9 days is waaaaaay off haha.)

  • Bike from My house to Santa Barbara, CA, then bike to Charleston, SC (This would cost more, and be a lot harder, but still an option)

  • Bike From My house down through Utah, then end in Charleston, SC (Id be missing out on Santa Barbara, and wouldn't be able to check off that box off on my Bucket List but this is also an option.)

My fascination with Santa Barbara
Well, it's on my bucket list to stand in this exact spot, before I die. I explain more in the vlog above.

Some other notable places I want to see on the adventure :(this is why the route will obviously change a little bit, because nothing is ever in a straight line)

  • The Grand Canyon
    IMG_1808.JPG
  • Zion National Park : Angels Landing
    IMG_1809.JPG
  • Santa Monica Pier
    IMG_1810.JPG
  • Savannah, Georgia
    IMG_1811.JPG
  • NYC
    IMG_1812.JPG
  • Wilmington, NC
    IMG_1813.JPG
  • And many, many more, hell if this is a success, I got my passport we may go international with this!! South America here I come!! Haha.

Where are some places you guys and girls would like to see while on the project?
If I'm coming through your town would you let me set up camp in the backyard?!
I want this project to feel just as much yours as it is mine, this is a steemit community project, and not just my project. I wouldn't be able to do this without the support of the platform, and that's the whole meaning of this project. The power of Steem. The power of Steemit, how far can this platform take one person?!

If you're down with this project and want to be apart of it, I ask you resteem, upvote and tell a friend about the project!

I'm going to follow you. Can't wait for you next post. I am also a bike rider.

Awesome, thanks man! I really appreciate it.
Love riding, love feeling dead tired. Haha

Great job I'll keep resteeming for ya and of course a upvote , Steem on !!!

Thank you, I really appreciate it!! It means a lot

You're fucking awesome bro!

Thanks man! I really appreciate it. It's going to be an adventure that's for sure.

That train ride is nice anyways. Def seems like the best way to start. Followed you and looking forward to your updates.

I watched it to the end but I want you to keep the 5SBD. I'm three days late anyways, and this gives me an excuse not to share my deepest fears lol

Hahah. I want to thank you! Only 4 other people watched all the way through haha. Yeah I feel like the train ride down there will be the smartest route to go. Plus, there's no turning back when your about a thousand miles from home! Yeah I'm extremely excited for this adventure to start, I'll be nervous up until I get on that train!

Have you ever done a bike trip like this? You mentioned a "last time" but didn't really go into details about it. Will you be camping most of the time, all the time?

Well I attempted to ride down from Washington State to California, and was trapped in a storm for days. The winds were around 80mph and everything I had packed was soaked. I used up all the money I had saved for the trip to recover from the storm. And I failed. But, with that trip, I had so many deadlines I wanted to make, and was doing it for the wrong reasons. This time, I'm just going, with no deadlines, and no worries. Yes, I will be trying to make this as minalmalistic as possible. I will camp everyday, but the first day in Santa Barbara, and possibly the second day in Santa Monica. I'm trying to keep the spending as minimal as possible as well, to make the trip last as long as possible. If it's a success, and I make it across, and I still have people's support, hell, I may cross the Mexico border and head south!

So sick!!! Well awesome. And ya you never know what will pop up, like you said just figure things out as they come. Windstorm like that is just really unlucky lol

I'm in New Hampshire right now so I'm useless to you, but if you're going through Las Vegas I may be able to pull some strings and find you a yard or couch for the night.

Las Vegas is a possibility! Depends on what side of the Grand Canyon I wasn't to adventure on! So I'll definetly keep that in mind thank you!

Very unlucky, but I was dumb and went in March, the worst possible time in the pnw haha

Baha, just do it and adapt, I like it

And you should be excited!! Literally life changing and it'll be great.
