Este jocoso refrán le recuerda a la persona que aunque algo o alguien tenga antigüedad, no significa que ya no sirve. Al contrario, todavía sigue imponiendo su importancia en el medio. Tal como el viento; es muy viejo pero aún sigue vigente y poderoso.

This humorous saying reminds the person that even if something or someone is old, it doesn't mean it's no longer useful. On the contrary, it still maintains its importance in the field. Like the wind; it is very old but still relevant and powerful.

Los refranes forman parte del habla cotidiana y reflejan la identidad cultural de cada país, sea del continente que sea. Por eso existen muchos de ellos, que dejan la misma enseñanza, aunque se manifieste de otra forma y con otros ejemplos.

Proverbs are part of everyday speech and reflect the cultural identity of each country, regardless of the continent. That's why there are so many of them, all conveying the same lesson, even though they may vary.
