The Hunt for Color | Geo-quest Mystery SC29W3

A new week of the Geo-quest challenge. I was a little worried because I couldn't upload the images for this post to make the publication.. I think it was the internet or the platform. But, in the end, I managed. This week's Geo-quest was about hunting colors.

I would like to invite my friend @evagavilan, @blessedlife and @joslud.

On this day 31 de enero, pero de 1924, One of the most emblematic figures of the city of Villa de Cura has died in Spain: "Rafael Bolívar Coronado." In Villa de Cura, the "house of culture" has been named after him. A place that, for me, represents a before and after when I arrived in these Aragua lands.

The Rafael Bolívar Coronado House of Culture in Villa de Cura

It is located on Miranda Street, one block from Miranda Square in Villa de Cura, at the intersection with the street Leopoldo Tosta. When I arrived in Villa de Cura, this place was in very bad condition. But in 2024, rehabilitation work began, as many spaces were unusable due to the accumulated garbage.

However, thanks to the efforts of government entities, it was rehabilitated and its spaces were once again at the service of the cultural community of the Zamora municipality. This truly warmed my heart because at last there was a decent place for culture. I held my first creative writing workshops in the previous space. Now renovated, this place was Witness to my first participation in a poetry recital. This was the meeting place to celebrate the 19th International Poetry Fair.

The cultural center is a meeting place. From there, singing, poetry, dance, theater, reading, and many other cultural expressions are promoted.

For me, it's one of the spaces I enjoy most, especially when I share it with other poets with extensive experience, such as the poet Acosta and the traditional dance teacher Yolanda Urvelo.

The renovations to the cultural center offer pleasant spaces for gatherings and participation. I invite you to enjoy these spaces.

The cultural center is my sanctuary, where I can enjoy so many artistic expressions. I'm so glad these renovations were recently completed. Now it's more appealing to attend the cultural events held there. My dear son, @duetron, is my walking stick and accompanies me all the time. He's already beginning to understand poetic spaces. and has been encouraged to participate on occasion.

It adorns my surroundings

It has been a true pleasure to participate in this wonderful challenge. It has allowed me to experience the joy of rediscovering the significant sites of my city and sharing them with others. See you in the next Geo-quest.
