Deserted island
The first thing I thought when I read "deserted island" was this: to lie in a hammock and relax, enjoying the beauty of the sea.
I suppose some days I'll feel great, but then the loneliness will start to take its toll. We're social beings by nature, or so they say. I'm not very sociable; I don't need to interact much, but I do need to be surrounded by people. It's instinctive.
Imagine wandering around looking for something to eat. Well, at least I don't have to cook, hahaha. Seriously, I don't think it's pleasant being alone for long periods. When I go out to meetings, you should see my face: it lights up.
This whole deserted island thing only works in movies, the point is that you usually find company, so it DOESN'T work hahaha.

Who says that have to be alone on a deserted island?
Once you arrive it is no longer deserted or? It just means you are the first setting foot on it.
If being in the on a deserted island means having no civilization, then a single person doesn't constitute civilization. So, the on a deserted island means having to survive however you can, without company. Well, nature, water, and animals keep you company, but I don't think they're very sociable. Neither am I. So, being in a place like this might not be too boring for me, but only for the first few months. After that, I don't think I'd feel right without hearing other people; at least listening to them, not socializing.....
I'm a strange man, yes, I admit it
I don't think I'd feel very comfortable on a deserted island; I have quite a family, and I'm used to socializing.
You're already used to being surrounded by family and friends, I'm usually alone, I've gotten used to it
