1. Watching- [Agrupneo]- (ag-roop-neh-o)- to be sleepless, to keep awake, (17. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch (Agrupneo) for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you Heb 13:17 (KJV)). If you are not a part of a local body how can you be watched over?

2. Thereunto (a conjunction made up of three words)- [Eis]- (ice)- continually/ [Touto]- (too-to)- Cause/[ Autos]- (ow-tos)- The person watching as he compares others to himself in a good way., (3. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5. this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Phil 2:3-5 (KJV)). Comparing with benevolence that what I have compared to others. The idea is to insure that those of the household of God to which I am directly connected have what they need. Spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally.

3. With- [En]- Fixed position in time, place or state. This is our full time job!

4. All- [Pas]- The whole of something. With all of who you are. (12. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness -([Teleiotes]- (tel-i-ot-ace)- completeness, moral and spiritual perfection).Col 3:12-14 (KJV)).

5. Perseverance- [Proskarteresis]- (pros-kar-ter-ay-sis)- The act of being persistent. Never giving up. Pushing onward in spite of the trials. (2. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3. And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5. Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7. 6. And- [Kai]- (kahee)- Cumulative force. Works stronger when added to..........

7. Supplication- [Deesis]- (deh-ay-sis)- A petition, as in binding oneself to, (16. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual (Energeo- active) fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.James 5:16 (KJV)).

8. For- [Peri]- (per-ee)- Through, comes from the root word- [Peran]- (per-an)- to pierce through. The meaning is clear. Stop always praying for yourself!. Pierce your attention through somebody else!

9. All- [Pas]- the whole of everything, No favorites here.

10. Saints- [Hagios]- (hag-ee-os)- Physically pure, morally blameless.

• So what does this have to do with having on armor or being in warfare. This last part could be looked upon as instructions for spiritual medics. Watching out for the needs of others. Going into the midst of battle to rescue the wounded and injured. We are all called to this position! (1. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Gal 6:1-2 (KJV)). also, (12. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:12-13 (KJV)). To be effective at anything Jesus calls us to, we must lay down our lives. To lay down our lives simply means to consider our value to be the less then the need at any given moment. Blessings!
