Thanks for the update, I've been wondering how things were going. Sorry to hear it's only the beginning :'( Was thinking you'd be all better by now, or at the least on the road to recovery from the procedure. Fuck. No words... Just really really sorry you and Sarah are going through this! Did writing about it help at all? I'm really glad you wrote!

Writing always helps me process my emotions and I actually have two other abandoned drafts of this update, because halfway through each, I realized that I wasn't being honest with myself, instead I was either writing about all the funny stuff that happened during the commute or I omitted the grim stuff to keep it light-hearted and avoiding my feelings. So, with this last one, I felt like I was in some crazy therapy, dealing with my emotions.
Good on you for keeping it real, your honesty inspires me to be more vulnerable myself.
