Not nosey at all! We're on maybe 2 acres, but not a lot of growing areas due to the beautiful large trees we have surrounding the whole place. They shade a lot, but it's okay, a lot of plants do well in partial shade. We've maximized the space as best that we can, and year after year we find ways to squeeze in even more haha! Next year we are going to be utilizing part of the forest to have pigs in!
Another question you probably get asked all day - How long have you been doing this - and how long did it take you to get things up and running? Seems like it could be a lot of trial and error?
It's been 3 years now :) My husband is really great at building stuff so that's how we got so much up so fast. Totally trial and error, I make soooo many mistakes, yet that's how I've learned all I know too! :) :) My first garden was pretty pathetic compared to the next and the next, each year it just gets better and better!
Aw, thanks for watching, hope it gave you some warm and fuzzies :) :) Yes, we will have to see what transpires next week when they hit the great outdoors!
Out of curiosity (sorry if I'm nosy) how many acres are you on? Looks like you have an incredible amount of food production in such a small space! :)
