Steem prices Jump to $4.16
Well folks it surely did not took long, we are barely starting 2018 and the Steem Prices are already in $4.16.

Is good time as any to remember that the upcoming SMT (Smart Media Tokens) are not out yet, and it is expected that they will have a great impact in the future of Steemit and Steem prices overall.
I hope we can make Steemit grow more this year, it would be interesting to see Steemit growing bigger than Facebook by the end of 2018, it may seem impossible for you for that to happen this year 2018, but you just have to remember that nothing is impossible.
Thank you for reading me far and for all your support, this year is only starting and we start with a good foot in 2018. I am sure more surprises are bond to happen.

Fantastic news! How will smart media tokens affect prices?
As Steem prices are based on supply and demand, but the demand comes from the trust people put in Steemit, SMT will generate more trust and awareness for Steemit platform and it's positive future, or at least that's what I believe but I can be wrong.
