My first chalk coal sketches

Hello fellow Steemians!

Here is a little update of my route to becoming an amazing artist!

After I decided to invest more time on drawing and painting I joined classes. I go there once a week for three hours. The results of my first class I'd like to share with you. Everyone participating had to take turns posing as a proper model while the others had about 5 minutes to draw him or her in chalk coal.

For a quick sketch chalk goal is great. However, for a more detailed drawing it's better to switch to other means such as pencils.

The drawings are supposed to give an impression of the person right at that moment; to capture the grumpy mood of Sam in the picture below for example.

I hope you like the drawings. I at least enjoyed making them and trying out chalk coal for a change.
