Skrill now supports cryptocurrencies
Skrill that belongs to the Paysafe Group would have added offers to buy and sell cryptocurrencies to its user platform in more than 30 countries, for now it will support Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ether and Litecoin.
At the moment you can only buy and sell cryptocurrencies, that is you will not be the owner of the currency per se, so you can not send them or pay with them, it is an option that will be added in the future.
The CEO of Skrill and Neteller, Lorenzo Pellegrino, commented:
"The world of cryptocurrency trading is exciting and dynamic, and our digital wallet service fits perfectly into this environment. I am confident that the ability to trade in cryptocurrencies easily through Skrill will attract a lot of customers now and in the future. "
This service will be available in the mobile app of the company as well as the digital wallet at some point in the next few months.
